6 Month Candidacy to Member-Ownership

All hires will work a minimum six month “candidacy” process. This functions much like a paid internship as a trial period before long term co-ownership of the business. Candidates work full time, participate in committees, and attend shop meetings where they get a voice in how the bakery is run.

After your candidacy, members will vote on whether to approve you as an equal co-owner of the bakery. Ownership brings a hours-based share of profits, access to admin committees, and voting power to shape our business!

We strive for diversity as well as a supportive and fair work environment. We encourage BIPOC, Queer, Women and folks from other marginalized identities to apply.

We pay $23/hr plus tips (on average, this works out to $28). Owners and candidates alike are paid at the same hourly rate. We offer health benefits after three months. Membership profit shares are paid out yearly. We do not offer part-time positions.
